REFORMA Los Angeles Chapter attends Creando Enlaces a Baja and Southern California Conference to Expand Library Borders on Friday, January 13 and Saturday, January 14th. Friday was a full day of workshops, where Cynthia Bautista and Sonia Bautista presented “Connecting Teens Across Borders”. On Saturday morning we started with poster session presentations in the morning and visits to a San Diego Public library, San Diego County library and an academic library. We enjoyed meeting librarians from San Diego and from Baja California and plan to work together in future events.

This conference was presented by San Diego Public Library, Serra Cooperative Library System, LIBROS, Reforma, San Diego State University, Friends of the Logan Heights Library, and ABIBAC (Baja California Library Association).
